According to police in Reading, Pennsylvania, 61-year-old Jose Luis Rodriguez killed 32-year-old Geraldina Peguero-Mancebo, her husband Junior Cabrera-Colon, and their one-year-old son Jeyden in what investigators believe was a jealous and premeditated attack.

Based on the investigation, Rodriguez, who had been financially supporting Geraldina as her “sugar daddy,” first shot and killed her husband on September 11th. The next day, he picked up Geraldina and her baby, initially under the impression of a normal visit, but when she refused to leave her husband, he turned violent.

He allegedly shot Geraldina and later drove to a nearby pond, where he threw Jeyden into the water. Autopsy findings revealed mud in the baby’s lungs, showing he was still alive when submerged.

Rodriguez was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder, kidnapping, abuse of a corpse and other related crimes.
